About
ArruDev is an independent software studio building native applications for Apple platforms.
It was set up to do a small number of things properly rather than many things quickly. We take no client work and run no consultancy, so the effort goes into the products themselves — the design, the code, the releases and the support that follows.
What we build
Applications for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, written in Swift and built with the platform’s own frameworks. Media playback, utilities, and the kind of tool somebody opens every day and never thinks about.
Our first applications are in development.
How we work
Releases are small and frequent. Every change is reviewed and tested before it goes out, and when something breaks the report reaches whoever wrote the code that broke it rather than a support queue.
Accessibility and localisation are not a later pass. An app that cannot be used with VoiceOver, or that only speaks one language, is unfinished.
Privacy
We do not run accounts and we do not sell data. Where an application collects anything at all, its own privacy policy says exactly what and why, written from the code rather than from a template.
